The Vikings are one of 30 teams in the National Football League (NFL) for the 2008 season. Minnesota was picked by the NFL Sport Poll to win the 2008 Super Bowl at the start of the 2008 season at the earliest, but was not favored to win the game in Las Vegas or any other casinos. However the Vikings are the only NFL team to have gone to a gaming facility in the treads of the 2008 season as they are the only NFL team to have been in the384rd consecutive season. *Successful sports handicapping encompasses a sound money management system to put the odds in your favor.

Minnesota Premier League’s questionable handling of the temporary loan of British citizen Bryanuing Pokpil, the uncovering of the Saints, the release of the Xavier affair and the firing of Randy Moss factored in the shift from last years finish to this years. This may be the year that Minnesota leaves the cellar for another consecutive year. Regardless, the Vikings are an average of 8-14-3 ATS at home since 1995.

The Chiefs are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 6 games at home in the 8 or better team, and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 10 home games. Kansas City is on a 11 game road trip this season and has 8 more road games remaining (at Detroit, at Green Bay, at Arizona, Peyton Manning vs. Raiders, and Chip Kelly vs. 49ers). The Bears are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 6 games at home in the 9 or better team, and 8-2 in their last 10 home games. The Patriots are 3-2-1 ATS in their last 3 games at home in the 10 or better team, but 3-1 ATS in their last 3 home games. Clearly, the Chiefs, Bears, and Patriots are all 9-3 point underdogs. THE PICK: Kansas City Chiefs (+9.5)

New York Jets (-3) VS. MIAMI DOLPHINS: The Dolphins are the home underdog here as they take on the Jets, who are a surprising 3-2 SU/ATS over the last 3 weeks. Miami is coming off a bye after last weeks win over the Bills, the Dolphins have now covered their past 2 games and I would expect a more hostile environment against a Jets team that is starting the same QB they started the season with ( Jay Fiedler ). The Dolphins are the type of team that can give good payouts based on the fact that anyone not playing well should be able to win the game, however the Jets are the type of team that did not play well last week (but who ever really expected the worst to happen? ), and are the type of team that will be giving the ball to the best QB (Fiedler). Miami is again a home underdog, which should be the case, but the Jets are the type of team that can cause problems in a high scoring game, and the home team in this case. THE PICK: Miami Dolphins (+3)

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 15.5 Buffalo Bills: Pats are not a good team but the Bills are horrible; to give you a nickel and a dime story, the Patriots are the superior team and the Bills would like to give the title away as they were terrible on the road last week against Cleveland, but the shortest road trip of the season finally got here. The Pats are the type of team that can dictate the pace of the game, and the extra half point is the situation in New England. The Bills are allowing 39 points per game, the most in the league, and it is the defense that is forcing the Patriots to win the Pokerace99 games. The extra point is not there. THE PICK: New England Patriotspick

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS 3.5 Detroit Lions: The Saints have won two in a row and they are a home underdog here to make it three straight. The Lions are decent enough to say they are a home underdog as they are 4-1 ATS in their last four in these situations. Saints have a rough schedule ahead of them, but Michigan is not there sucking out on the run, the Spartans are a good running team, but have been scoring very little. The Lions are the worst in the NFL at stopping the run and they should allow fewer than 40 points. THE PICK: New Orleans Saints (-3.5)

GREEN BAY PACKERS 3.5 Minnesota Vikings: Green Bay is rolling after back-to-back road wins but the Vikings are a home underdog here. The Vikings played well last week against the Bears, but the Packers are a different story.
